- It is located around 32 kms from Kothamangalam taluk in Ernakulam district and 86 towards east from district head quarters kakkanad with an average elevation of 1200 meters above sea level. It is one of the hidden tourist attractions in kerala. The place enjoys a favorable and pleasant climate all year round and is famous for its peaceful retreat in the midst of a lush plantation.
- The point is best suitable for young tourist and great spot for camping & trekking. The trek to the spot is one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences that the tourist have encountered. Wild forests house the most popular species of animals like elephant , wild deer, tiger, etc… If you are lucky enough, you could spot them during the trekking.
